Drop and Fluff
Have you wondered “drop” and “fluff” means when it comes to breast augmentation. When breast implants are placed under the pec muscle, initially they are flattened by the muscle and sit high on the chest. There is also a lot of swelling under the muscle. Over time the implant slowly stretches the muscle and the overlying breast tissue and the implant settles or “drops” into the pocket and the breasts look round and full “fluff”. This usually takes around 3 months to happen; sometimes larger implants take longer. Here are some examples of breast implants “dropping and fluffing” over time.
