Breast Enlargement Creams: Do they work? Dr Cat Answers
Yesterday I got a DM from one of my Snapchat followers who saw what she thought was one of my breast augmentation before and after pictures being used as an ad for a Breast Growing Cream. Honestly – does anyone really believe they can take a pill or rub cream on their breasts and go up 2 perky full bra sizes?!! It makes me mad that any company would try to take advantage of women like this. Also I would warn woman that taking anything that may hormonally stimulate breast tissue, especially drugs or creams that are not FDA approved, may be harmful to their health.
For women who are looking for a more natural solution to enhancing their breast, fat transfer is an option. Although it has limitations in terms of size and volume, it is your own tissue. It is still a surgery, because fat is removed via liposuction and then injected with small cannulas (don’t let anyone trick you by calling this “non-surgical”), but the poke holes are super tiny and there is a very quick recovery. Otherwise – to get fullness, go up more than one breast size, or to get a more round shape, breast implants are really the standard, time tested FDA approved device. Other than a small incision and a few days feeling sore, breast augmentation also has a relatively easy and quick recovery. Most of my patients have almost no bruising and just feel like they did 30 push-ups.
Many people may be looking for a way to avoid surgery, but there is no miracle cure or cream. If it sounds too good to be true…it usually is!
