When it comes to choosing breast implant size, it’s important to take everything into consideration – your profession, hobbies, and the look you are going for. Also, a size that may look good on one person may look totally different on your frame. I take a lot of time helping my patients with choosing their size. I take all things into consideration such as lifestyle and profession as well as the constraints of each person’s individual anatomy to help guide them. For example I had a professional golfer who wanted a lot of fullness but we had to make sure her breasts wouldn’t interfere with her ability to swing a club. I have professional women who want flexibility to not look too voluptuous at work but when they go out with their friends at night, be able to show off with a push up bra. My professional model and dance patients need to be a solid B as to not lose work. I undergo at least 2 sizing exercises with each patient where we try different size implants on them in a non padded bra but I also encourage patients to come in as many times they need to size themselves in different clothes or get opinions of people close to them. Communication is really important to get it exactly right!
