About 30 percent of Dr. Cat Begovic's patients travel to Beverly Hills from other states or from abroad. The out-of-town patient program covers virtual consultations with photos, help planning your stay, a night of aftercare after major surgery and follow-up after you go home. Dr. Cat quotes every surgery after the consultation because anatomy and operating time vary from patient to patient. The cost guides give the typical range for each procedure and what drives it, the Patient Concierge can give a general range by phone, and you receive the exact price at the end of your consultation with Dr. Cat.
Yes. A consultation with Dr. Cat is $500, or $1,500 for revision surgery, and the fee is applied to your procedure if you go ahead. Consultations are in person in Beverly Hills or by video with photos. A 15-minute discovery call with the Patient Concierge is free.
Plan a tummy tuck at least four to six months after delivery, at least three months after you finish breastfeeding, and once you are within about 10 pounds of your goal weight. Dr. Cat books surgery about 6 to 9 months ahead, so the consultation can happen a few months after you deliver.
Dr. Cat asks for a BMI close to 30 before surgery, for safety. Exceptions depend on anatomy and overall health and are decided at the consultation, in person or by video.
No. Dr. Cat Plastic Surgery does not accept medical insurance, because insurance does not cover cosmetic surgery; it may cover some related costs such as lab work. For the surgeon's fee the practice partners with Cherry and also accepts CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit.
